storage bed? im redecorating my room. does anybody know a good twin bed or daybed that has a lot of storage in it? please help me! i have a TINY room 10 x 10! so plz help!

I want to increase the clearance under a bed - for storage purposes? We're about to buy a bed which has side and end panels that come to about 5" from the floor - thereby cutting off access to a fairly large storage volume. Any suggestions for under bed dresser/storage? I found small insects under my bed in my storage bin..? It was in storage for a couple months but recently I opened it. Crawling all over my stuffed animals were these very very very small red bugs that kind of had a wierd smell. I dont know what they are but Im trying to find out. They were so small i could barely tell they were moving. They arent bed bugs because we are not getting bit and they were too small. They were as small as specs of dust.
Looking to buy a storage bed. Have specific qualities I'm looking for..? I would like a wooden storage bed, preferably without a headboard or baseboard but it is ok if there is one. A sideboard is good (like a day bed style). I am NOT looking for the kind of bed with drawers underneath or the kind of bed that lifts up so you can store things under it. I also don't want little things to hoist the bed up, I want everything to be attached. What I really want is an open face concept, like it has large cubbies underneath (that are attached). I want the bed to be high so there is a lot of space underneath so I can put large wicker baskets in it. It should be a twin/single. (important.. I have a small room!) I'd like either an unfinished wood so I can stain it or it to be a dark colour, black, dark brown or a dark cherry. Thanks very much! Best placement of storage bed in small bedroom ? Look (pics) !? I'm moving in 2 weeks, and I've used a CAD type program to layout pretty much all my furniture decisions in my small 1 bedroom condo. This has made it really easy to pick stuff out etc. My question is this : I have a small bedroom, roughly 11 x 13 that only has room for the queen sized storage bed (has drawers on all sides and is slightly higher than regular beds), a dresser, and thats about it. How can I get my bed stable with bed lifters? I have one of those plain bed frames that came with the mattress set. It has wheels on it. I bought those very nice bed lifters advertised at Bed Bath & Beyond. But when my roommate and I tried to put them under the corners of the bed, they kept collapsing. I think it's because of the wheels on the corners of the bed frame. I looked at the wheels, and I can't figure out how to take them off; there's no screw or place to put a screwdriver. Desperate for storage or tips to make more room in a tiny space? I have 5 kids in one room........yep 5 in one room! We are trying to change our basement into 2 rooms but for now I need to figure out how to have all their stuff in there and not be all over the floor. Does it harm a mattress to use it on a platform bed without a box spring? It would be too high with a box spring, but some people say the mattress will wear out sooner without a box spring. Is that true? The platform bed has storage drawers underneath, and seems more useful than a box spring on a frame. Does anyone have experience with this situation? We are building the platform with the storage, ourselves, because we couldn't find one to buy!

How do I make this look better? We used cinder blocks to raise our bed? We did it today and the storage under the bed is fantastic.
